from BOLD beginnings
to INNER alignment
My path to founding Solizticated began with a realisation that still guides everything we do today: True fulfilment comes from the freedom to create authentically, and to empower others to do the same.
After completing both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology, I found myself at a crossroads. While I deeply valued the insight I’d gained into human behaviour and connection, I felt a creative hunger I could no longer ignore. I craved more freedom. More expression. A path that felt like mine.
Everything shifted when I discovered a digital nomad community that cracked something open in me. While still working in psychology, I picked up a camera and started exploring photography, and that was it. I was hooked. Creating sparked a kind of joy I hadn’t felt in years. One that eventually gave me the courage to leave a conventional career behind and follow a different kind of calling.
The TURNING point
What started as branding photography soon evolved into full-spectrum social media management: the perfect intersection of my psychology background and creative instincts.
Living and working in Australia became a defining chapter. The distance from my familiar world allowed me to reconnect with myself… away from expectations, distractions, and self-doubt. In my second chapter there, everything clicked into place. I let go of imposter syndrome and began to see just how limitless this path could be.
That mindset shift is the heartbeat of Solizticated today. We believe social media can be more than noise or performance. It can be a space for connection, beauty, and meaning. A place where brands communicate with intention, build communities, and make people feel seen and understood.

I’m incredibly particular about my coffee. It has to be a decaf oat milk cappuccino from a proper coffee bar. There's just a level of care and craft that good baristas bring to their work, and it changes literally everything.

I’m (not so secretly) planning to get a golden retriever pup in the future. I’ve already spent far too much time thinking about cute names.

If a soul country exists, Australia is definitely mine. I’ve lived in Sydney twice, and every time I return to the Netherlands, something pulls me straight back. It’s where I discovered my most grounded, creative self and where the vision for Solizticated first took shape.

I unapologetically love Sex and the City. It’s my favourite comfort show. The bold fashion, the unapologetic storytelling, and the celebration of female friendship make it the perfect watch, every time.
